Requirement:

Our client is a car and scooter sharing software provider. They want to develop a segway rental management system.

Solution:

The solution was developed to remotely manage a fleet of Segways. The in-built BLE module in the Segway will communicate to our hardware kit which consists of a particle electron integrated with a BLE module. The kit is placed on the edge of the Segway itself. Developed a back-end application using NodeJS to connect the data from the Particle electron module to a popular short-term vehicle rental system application called FleetBird. This communication channel allows users to get crucial data from the Segway such as usage time, battery level etc. The users can also control the Segway by giving commands such as start, stop, lock and switching on the LED lights.
